The factory exhaust outlet on the L5P Duramax is definitely the most easily identifiable out of any diesel. Besides the outlet angle and oversized bellow, it makes it nearly impossible to give your truck an aesthetic upgrade of an exhaust tip without resorting to a complete DPF back exhaust system. Fortunately, PPE has solved this issue with this four to five inch exhaust upgrade that includes not only a 5" polished or black exhaust tip, but also the angled exhaust pipe to fit your stock exhaust to make your exhaust exit behind the passenger rear wheel.

- Unfortunately, these have not been confirmed to fit the 2025-2026 applications yet.

- This PPE exhaust tip upgrade will not throw a check engine light on a 2022 L5P, and will not rattle as long as it is installed correctly.

- No, these will not throw any codes. They are going to be designed to take place of the factory vented tip, just exiting out of the side of the truck behind the rear tire, and not straight out the back.
