IMPORTANT FITMENT INFORMATION:
- This tip was originally intended for fitment on the L5P Duramax to change the outlet angle of the tailpipe to the more traditional "behind-the-tire" exist. That said, this pipe will fit nearly any application with a 4" exhaust.
- There have been instances noted on 2023+ model year trucks where changing out the factory tailpipe has caused a check engine light.

"My exhaust had been previously modified and the exit ended up direct;y under the bed step. This replacement fixed that issue, improved the look of the truck as well as redirected exhaust out to the side. That helped with noise when towing my 5th wheel. Installation was quick and easy. I did add a couple of tack welds just to support the clamp. Overall very nice product."

"I am very pleased with this pipe even though I believe I ordered it for the wrong model. My truck is a 2015 2500HD. The pipe is sturdy, highly polished and fit my pipe perfectly. There were no instructions as to where to make the cut. I elected to make the cut just before the first slight turn to the outside. Since the angle of this pipe is not 90 degrees, my cut let the tip angle slightly to the rear. I would have preferred to have a 90 degree turn and an exit directly behind the wheel but I am pleased with how it worked out. I definitely would recommend this item."

- We don't have anything similar in a 5" to 5", this exhaust tip is specifically meant to fit the Duramax's.
- Does this come with the clamp?
- Yes, this will have a pinch bolt style clamp integrated into the tip.
- Does this work on a non-deleted and non-tuned 2016 Silverado 2500hd duramax?
- This exhaust tip will work on your truck as long as you have a 4" exhaust. We do not deal with anything that modifies emission standards and this part is not dependent on emissions.
- Will the SKU #: MEL-ST11070B MPN #: ST11070B Mel's Manufacturing Vented Turn Out Tip 304 Polished Stainless 07.5-22 GM 6.6L Duramax fit the 2026 6.6 Duramax? I wasn't sure if GM changed the exhaust on the 2026 or not.
