Over time the factory heat exchanger in your Ram 5.9L Cummins can plug up adversly affecting transmission fluid temperatures. If this is not addressed, it can cause major transmission issues. Bypass your factory heat exchanger with this bypass line from Full Send Diesel.
Instead of transmission fluid going from the transmission to the heat exchanger, from the heat exchanger to the factory transmission cooler, this kit has one single hose that goes directly from the front port on the transmission to the transmission cooler. This kit will not replace the return hose from the transmission cooler back to the rear port on the transmission. As always this kit is backed by Full Send Diesel's lifetime workmanship warranty.

Transmission Heat Exchanger Bypass
"The install was pretty straight forward. The only issue is getting the crush ring over the transmission cooler line, a little sandpaper is needed. Bypassing the heat exchanger is the way to go and is high recommended. I found that my heat exchanger was leaking a little radiator fluid into the transmission and is the reason for getting this bypass kit. Would also recommend replacing the transmission cooler as well. My thermostat in the cooler was gummed up since the radiator fluid in the transmission fluid cause it to foam up some."
