Description
Keeping your transmission in good working condition is basic knowledge to running and maintaining your Ram pickup. Excess heat from heavy loads can build up in your transmission fluid causing it to be less effective and in turn more wear and tear on your whole transmission. This heat also takes a toll on your hoses as well causing cracks and damage to your fittings which in turn can start to leak fluid.
Replace your factory transmission hoses with CR2 Performance & Fab Standard Transmission Line Kit. This kit includes 8AN nylon braided hose, anodized billet aluminum ends and fittings, and a stainless braided inner wire for support. This design is tough but made to be flexible and easy to route through those spots that you always seem to bust your knuckles on. Do you have a Mishimoto aftermarket transmission cooler? Then you are in luck as the heat exchange bypass version is made to work exclusively with it bypassing the factory heat exchanger on the engine block.
Heat Exchanger optionChoose between whether you want to retain factory heat exchanger or bypass it. More specifically, the Bypass Heat Exchange version was designed to be used exclusively with a Mishimoto transmission cooler. If you don't have an alternate method of keeping your transmission fluid cool then you should keep with the factory heat exchanger.

- This kit does not include installation instructions currently. For reference, the AN fittings will be torqued to roughly 25-30 foot pounds and the swage fittings on the transmission cooler will be tightened until the assembly no longer rotates in the tube and then tighten roughly 1.2-1.5 full turns to swage the fitting to the tube, per CR2.
