Description
Are you ready to gain some altitude in your SuperDuty coupled with increased suspension performance? Whether your truck stays on the pavement or you like to hit some dirt on the weekends, this kit from BDS will not only deliver additional ride height for larger tire fitment and ground clearance, but also a better ride, no matter the conditions. As far as quality...no cheap coil or radius arm spacers here, only fine tuned replacement coils and stout, stellar looking radius arms with this kit!At the heart of this system is a pair of heavy duty radius arms built to withstand whatever abuse you can throw at them. Built from 1-3/4" OD -10GA DOM tubing with support gussets, these replacement arms are far superior to the factory stamped steel units. They use a high clearance design for extra ground clearance and are formed inward to allow for additional clearance of oversized tires. They incorporate factory style 3-1/4" rubber bushings to minimize road vibrations and allow for a long, maintenance-free bushing life. The arms bolt into the factory mounting points and reposition the front axle to correct caster angle. The additional 5" of lift comes from a pair of full length diesel specific ProRide coil springs. These paired with FOX 2.5 Performance Elite (PE) shocks. These aluminum bodied shocks offer improved damper performance, better heat dispersion and easy tuning via the DSC (dual speed compression) adjusters located on the reservoir allowing you to dial in the high-speed and low-speed compression settings. To improve steering angles a forged drop pitman arm is supplied with an integrated drag link flip. Used in combination with the a heavy duty track bar that will position the front axle for improved handling. Also included for the front suspension are a pair of sway bar relocation brackets, bump stop extensions, brake line relocation brackets and your choice of series steering stabilizer with mounting bracket. Out back a bolt on lift block is used in place of the factory block on the F250 or F350 to level the stance. Longer black e-coated u-bolts round out this 5" radius arm lift system.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Ford recommends replacement of the pitman arm nut after each time it has been removed.

  • If your truck is equipped with a 2-piece rear driveshaft, a Carrier Bearing Drop Kit may be required: BDS123402.
  • Due to taller factory ride height, Tremor models will not net full advertised lift height. Final ride height will be the same as standard models.
  • Larger tires on stock wheel are not recommended due to interference with brake line, radius arm and sway bar. Use recommended specs listed in wheel and tire fitment section.
  • Minor trimming may be necessary for clearance of 37x12.50 tires on certain wheel setups.
  • Installation requires a torque wrench capable of 406 ft-lbs.
  • Trucks without top mounted overload springs will require (4) UBT4028.
About BDS Suspension

BDS Suspension was started in 1996 by a business group who felt it was past time to create a suspension company that truly had the best interest of the off road consumer as its' foundation. With over 45 combined years experience with other major suspension companies, both buying and selling, the individuals that would make up the BDS name were frustrated by the lack of quality and the unwillingness to make things right by these 4x4 companies. So, they set out to create a suspension company that would be the best and made a list of the things they felt were not right and made it their mission to correct them.

One of the most important of these wrongs they were looking to right were that of other companies warranties. Too often, the standard protocol was that a broken or damaged part from another manufacturer was denied warranty because of abuse or neglect. For BDS, its simple, if it breaks, they'll replace it, and that is the motto in which they have based their entire warranty off of. So, they welcome you, try and break it, if you do, they'll replace it and probably try to determine a way to increase the rigidity of the product to ensure it never happens again.

BDS LIFT KITS

While most people whom have heard of BDS Suspension automatically think of "lift kits," that ony touches on the wide variety of suspension and steering related products that BDS offers. BDS understands that not everyone is after a complete lift kit, but still after the quality BDS products bring to the table. Some of our most popular products from BDS are replacement adjustable track bars and dual steering stabilizer kits that in many instances can be installed on a completely stock truck, or one that's leveled or lifted. Other popular "non lift kit" parts are leveling kits that include upgraded shocks, progressive rate coil springs, heavy duty control or radius arms, and even leaf springs.
