Description
These 5" systems upgrade the factory stamped steel radius arms to a high strength 4-link offering improved handling, stability, strength and caster control during wheel travel. The 4-link brackets are built from 1/4" steel and key off the factory frame bracket and transmission crossmember for extra strength. A forged drop pitman arm and heavy duty track bar relocation bracket are supplied to correct steering angles and recenter the front axle. Also supplied for the front are bump stop extensions to limit suspension compression, sway bar drop brackets to correct the sway bar positioning, and brake line relocation brackets. Additionally a high clearance transmission crossmember is supplied.
In the rear of these 5" lift systems BDS offers the your choice of replacement rear lift blocks or replacement GlideRide leaf springs. Either option will level out the stance, the spring replacement has the added benefits of an integrated overload leaf for additional load capacity. Additionally high strength black e-coated u-bolts are supplied. Take your Super Duty to the next level with BDS Suspension.
Coil Spring Front End Configuration
Full length 6" ProRide diesel only specific coil springs are used for the additional ride height paired with your choice of BDS NX2 series gas shocks or FOX 2.0 IFP performance gas shocks for a smooth ride on any terrain.
NX2 Nitro Series - BDS NX2 series gas shocks offer impressive performance on and offroad. They use a nitrogen charged, twin tube design with 10-stage velocity sensitive valving for lightning fast dampening and superior control. This results in: increased stability for improved handling, longer front end and tire life, less nose dive on severe braking, less squat on hard acceleration, smoother ride control without harshness.
FOX 2.0 Performance Series - Fox 2.0 performance series shocks have been tuned and tested by both Fox and BDS Suspension to maximize performance specific to each application and to every BDS Suspension system. The basic shock design is based on proven Fox Racing Shox race products, but re-designed to maximize the ride quality, handling, and control of your BDS equipped truck or jeep, whether on or off the road.
FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Series - Need to kick your suspension up another notch? The FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Series greatly expands your off-road capabilities and how much punishment your shocks can take. Made with external reservoirs to keep your shock oil away from high stress and higher temperatures, the elite series shocks are part of a suspension that will handle whatever you throw at it. Comes with easy adjustments to switch between different terrains, load and speed. Dual Speed Compression Adjuster comes standard.
Front Adjustable HD Track Bar
These new track bars are a massive upgrade to the factory unit, constructed from 1-3/8" solid steel stock reinforced with gusseted ends to handle whatever on-road and off-road abuse you can through at it. Adjustments are made at the 1-3/8"-12 fine threaded center turnbuckle with pinchbolt ends to allow easy tuning to properly recenter the front axle for a range of lift heights. The track bar is formed for proper clearance around critical front end components and is designed to easy installation without the need to clearance the factory frame and axle mounts. Both ends use high-durometer polyurethane bushings with thick-walled steel sleeves for strength and reliability. Parts come with a high quality textured black powdercoat finish for a great look and excellent corrosion resistance. The are designed for use on 0-4" of lift without a drop bracket and can be used in combination with most aftermarket track bar brackets to be used on taller lift heights.
Carrier Bearing Drop Kit
These shims are designed to improve rear driveline angle on trucks equipped with a 2-piece rear driveshaft to eliminate any potential driveline vibrations. Not needed on trucks equipped with a 1-piece rear driveshaft.

About BDS Suspension
BDS Suspension was started in 1996 by a business group who felt it was past time to create a suspension company that truly had the best interest of the off road consumer as its' foundation. With over 45 combined years experience with other major suspension companies, both buying and selling, the individuals that would make up the BDS name were frustrated by the lack of quality and the unwillingness to make things right by these 4x4 companies. So, they set out to create a suspension company that would be the best and made a list of the things they felt were not right and made it their mission to correct them.
One of the most important of these wrongs they were looking to right were that of other companies warranties. Too often, the standard protocol was that a broken or damaged part from another manufacturer was denied warranty because of abuse or neglect. For BDS, its simple, if it breaks, they'll replace it, and that is the motto in which they have based their entire warranty off of. So, they welcome you, try and break it, if you do, they'll replace it and probably try to determine a way to increase the rigidity of the product to ensure it never happens again.
