Why do you drive a TDi? Is it for the fuel economy? Maybe the power? We're guessing its probably a mixture of both, and guess what, with this simple to install cold air intake, you can improve both aspects, while also improving the underhood appearance for when its time to show off your turbo diesel.
This intake is available in both an oiled, cleanable filter, as well as a dry, disposable filter.
MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE - SB's cold air intake for your TDi was engineered to minimize air restriction and flows 35.68% better than stock with an efficiency rate of 99.28%. This kit comes with a fully enclosed air box that protects the filter from dirt and keeps out unwanted engine heat.
PREMIUM SILICONE RUBBER - The air filter, couplers, inlet, and box plug are made from premium silicone rubber. Silicone won't crack, has exceptional tear strength, and can handle temperatures as high as 400F. Demand Better. Demand SB.
NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS - SB devotes a huge amount of resources to engineer their intakes that allow your engine to run properly with stock calibration or enhanced tuning. This kit was designed to avoid check engine lights with it's properly mapped Mass Air Flow Sensor.
OEM FIT AND FINISH - Featuring a fully enclosed one piece box design, the lower box prongs integrate with the oem mounting locations to ensure a perfect fit. The silicone fender seal is designed to pull air from the stock location and retains the use of the stock ram air inlet. This kit comes with a massive, highly-efficient air filter which results in better performance and protects your engine. Available in either 8-layer Cotton Cleanable or Dry Extendable media.
CUSTOMIZE YOUR AIRFLOW. - More air equals better performance. The 2.0L TDI intake kit features two large air inlet points. If you want to customize the amount of air you take in, SB includes an optional box plug that can seal off one inlet point.
LARGE CLEAR LID - SB's signature large clear lid provides great looks. Featuring a rubber lid seal to keep out power robbing engine heat.
