Description
Have you decided to raise your expectations? Then it's time to go higher than you ever expected with this 6" 4-Link Lift Kit from BDS.  Going with a 4-Link conversion, this kit has the usual handling and performance upgrades but the look is the biggest reason to switch over. The design starts with two massive frame brackets providing the mounting points for the new upper and lower control arms. The brackets are located off the factory radius arm brackets so no factory bracket removal is required. The new 4-Link brackets mount similar to the current radius arm relocation brackets, wrapping the frame and nesting in the factory radius arms mounts. A minor amount of welding is required to install the threaded frame insert for the radius arm brackets which are necessary to provide the strongest possible mount. The control arm positions at the frame create better suspension geometry and reduce caster change through wheel travel compared to the radius arm setup. Thus creating better handling and a more controlled steering "feel", especially in rough terrain when the suspension is allowed to travel and articulate. The large diameter heavy-wall tubular control arms are formed for tire clearance when turning and position the axle slightly forward from stock to create more clearance to the rear portion of the front fenders. Let's not forget the Pro-Ride coil springs which are designed specifically for diesel engine setups and give that smooth ride you want whether going off-road or hauling cross-country. Rear Lift Options: Block Kit- 4" Block comes in with a tail low to level stance and 5" Block is a level to tail high stance. Leaf Springs- If you're looking to replace, this kit gives a level stance and comes with a new set of leaf springs which eliminate the need for a lift block. These leaf springs maintain factory payload weight ratings while giving a more controlled and stable feel. Shock Options: NX2 Nitro Series Shocks - BDS NX2 series gas shocks offer impressive performance on and offroad. They use a nitrogen-charged, twin-tube design with 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving for lightning-fast dampening and superior control. FOX 2.0 Series Shocks - Fox 2.0 performance series shocks have been tuned and tested by both FOX and BDS Suspension to maximize performance specific to each application and every BDS Suspension system. The Internal Floating Piston (IFP) shock design is based on proven Fox Racing Shocks race products but re-designed to maximize the ride quality, handling, and control of your BDS-equipped truck, whether on or off the road. NOTICE: FOX 2.0 Performance Series Shocks are unavailable in the 4" Lift Block. Indexing Ring Options: Please check your transfer case mounting bolt pattern to see which configuration you are. There is an optional Aisin heavy-duty 6 speed in Ram 3500 trucks that utilize the 8-bolt pattern. 6-Bolt 8-Bolt Carrier Bearing Drop KitA 2-piece rear drive shaft will require some extra work as the geometry of your drive system will now have some added stress. We recommend adding this carrier bearing drop to avoid any potential driveline vibration with the added lift height. Recoil Traction Bar Option: Proper axle alignment can be a problem when you're taking your pickup into some tough situations. Add on a Recoil Traction Bar kit to add support and stability. Additionally, traction bars allow your tires to stay on the road or trail so you can lessen wheel hop in high-stress situations.

About BDS Suspension

BDS Suspension was started in 1996 by a business group who felt it was past time to create a suspension company that truly had the best interest of the off road consumer as its' foundation. With over 45 combined years experience with other major suspension companies, both buying and selling, the individuals that would make up the BDS name were frustrated by the lack of quality and the unwillingness to make things right by these 4x4 companies. So, they set out to create a suspension company that would be the best and made a list of the things they felt were not right and made it their mission to correct them.

One of the most important of these wrongs they were looking to right were that of other companies warranties. Too often, the standard protocol was that a broken or damaged part from another manufacturer was denied warranty because of abuse or neglect. For BDS, its simple, if it breaks, they'll replace it, and that is the motto in which they have based their entire warranty off of. So, they welcome you, try and break it, if you do, they'll replace it and probably try to determine a way to increase the rigidity of the product to ensure it never happens again.

BDS LIFT KITS

While most people whom have heard of BDS Suspension automatically think of "lift kits," that ony touches on the wide variety of suspension and steering related products that BDS offers. BDS understands that not everyone is after a complete lift kit, but still after the quality BDS products bring to the table. Some of our most popular products from BDS are replacement adjustable track bars and dual steering stabilizer kits that in many instances can be installed on a completely stock truck, or one that's leveled or lifted. Other popular "non lift kit" parts are leveling kits that include upgraded shocks, progressive rate coil springs, heavy duty control or radius arms, and even leaf springs.
