Give your Allison 1000 transmission additional fluid capacity and improved cooling support with the Merchant Automotive 10710 Deep Transmission Pan Kit. Designed for 2001–2019 GM 6.6L Duramax applications, this all-in-one kit adds approximately three quarts of transmission fluid capacity compared to the factory setup, providing additional fluid volume to help manage transmission temperatures during towing, hauling, and other demanding driving conditions.
Note: A new transmission pan gasket is not included with this kit.
The kit combines a larger deep transmission pan with a deep-sump internal filter, genuine Allison external spin-on filter, and Merchant Automotive deep filter lock. The increased pan capacity helps provide more fluid for the Allison 1000 transmission while the included filtration components maintain proper fluid filtration.

About Merchant Automotive
Merchant Automotive, LLC was founded in 2004 by Eric Merchant. Eric was a long time employee of GM dealerships before forming Merchant Automotive, LLC. Eric got his start in high school where he discovered his passion for anything with a motor. He took his passion and turned it into a career in 1993 working in a small shop doing brakes and alignment work. He accumulated knowledge daily and soon took a position at a GM dealership in 1995 and advanced up the ranks over the next 10 years. Along the way, Eric studied the business hard, taking over 3000 hours of GM training and maintaining ASE Master Certification since 1998.

Merchant Automotive staffs only professionals who have an intimate knowledge in all the Duramax/Allison platforms and are dedicated to 100% customer satisfaction. Merchant provides you with highly specific technical information not found anywhere else, and many of their products are custom designed and manufactured in-house to maximize the performance and reliability of your truck.
