Minimize Backpressure
The secret to getting more out of your diesel engine is to give it lots of cool, clean air. The only way that you can get fresh air in is to get the hot air out. From the fully mandrel bent tubing to minimal bend degree angles, your MBRP performance system gets exhaust out fast. Drop exhaust gas temperature by up to 200 degrees and set the stage for all the performance you want. An MBRP performance exhaust system is the starting point to getting the most from cold air intakes, programmers, modules and downloaders.

While performance gains vary depending on the vehicle, you can expect a gain of 5% to 10% in horsepower and torque. For example, with a 2005 GM Duramax diesel, you will see a gain of 18 HP. and 28 ft/lbs measured at the rear wheels. Nice Product, Fitment Néeds Examined by Seller.
"A regular Quad Cab, Long Box requires a 4 foot extension(available@ Diesel Power Products) which is barely long enough to replace the cat pipe in front of the " Cat Back System. A single female/male 4' pipe would have worked much better instead of the 4' double female pipe that's available. Still ran short cause I had to cut one female end off for fitment. I had to extend the pipe hanger behind the muffler 2" to purchase the rubber hanger. That said, EGT HAS BEEN REDUCED and the installation is quite nice. Sounds great! Be prepared for modifications as nothing is going to fit exact as yet."

Better product, Needs better description
"This version has better rear hanger than my old version BUT rear hanger was the wrong angle. . . maybe it was because the one I received was for a regular cab, not a quad cab BUT there was not a choice of products listed. I used the old "cat" to muffler pipe and reshaped the angle of the rear hanger with a torch. Still, the angle of the last piece of tailpipe was askew. A little more bending of the hanger and some wire welding it seems to work fine."

- Will the MBRP 4” Cat Back T409 exhaust kit for a 2006 Dodge/Ram 5.9L diesel be as quiet as the OEM exhaust system? The OEM exhaust muffler is 26” long while the muffler in the kit is only 16” long.
- It won't be as quiet, but it will be the closest we have to offer to OEM sound, as far as a complete kit goes.
