This dramatic increase in heat dissipation happens for three reasons: First, the cast aluminum deals with heat in a vastly better manner than the stock steel pan. Second, Mag-Hytec designed the pan with internal heat sink fins as well as external cooling fins--a winning combination of oil cooling capability! Third, this pan holds way more fluid than stock.
