The Gate King 241718 Tailgate Position Adjuster gives Ford truck owners more control over how they use their tailgate. Instead of being limited to fully open or closed, the patented Tailgate Adjuster system provides 8 different positions, allowing the tailgate angle to be changed for hauling longer or oversized cargo. Simply raise the tailgate to the desired position, and the Gate King arms hold it securely in place. Built with hardened stainless steel chromoly arms, the Gate King is designed for strength and durability through regular truck use. A weather-resistant factory E-coating and black finish help protect the adjusters from exposure to the elements, while fixed mounting bolts also provide an added level of tailgate theft deterrence. The system installs using the truck's existing mounting holes, so drilling or permanent modification is not required. Installation can be completed in minutes using the included bolts and Allen wrench. Each kit includes a pair of Gate King tailgate adjusters along with the necessary installation hardware, release key, and Castel and Gate King stickers. A limited 3-year warranty backs Gate King adjusters. Please note that the system is not compatible with most aftermarket slow-release tailgate bars.

Gate King started with a problem plenty of truck owners know firsthand. Growing up riding dirt bikes from Northern California to the hills of Southern California, the family behind Gate King was constantly loading bikes and gear into the back of their pickup.
