Description

The Factor 55 Lighted Fairlead combines a heavy-duty hawse fairlead with integrated LED lighting for better visibility when winching in low-light conditions. The wide flood beam illuminates the ground directly in front of the winch while a rear-facing light shines onto the winch drum, making it easier to monitor the rope as you spool it back in. With selectable white or amber illumination and a simple 3-way switch, you can light up the recovery area without relying on a flashlight or headlamp. The fairlead is machined from 1-inch-thick 6061-T6 aluminum and finished with a mil-spec A8625 Type III hard-anodized gunmetal gray coating for excellent corrosion and abrasion resistance. A large-radius hawse opening helps reduce wear on the synthetic winch rope, while the flush-mounted polycarbonate lens protects the LED assembly from debris and impacts. The light is IP68 waterproof, SAE J575 compliant, and rated for operation from -40°F to 185°F, making it well-suited for demanding off-road recovery conditions.
