Description
Need a high quality and durable tow strap for long hauls pulling or towing vehicles? Factor 55 Extreme Duty Tow Strap is made of low stretch two inch wide Double Ply 100% polyester; is thirty feet long, and with icing on the cake is made in the USA. The narrower 2 inch wide strap is versatile and can easily fit into common 1/4 screw pin shackle openings and the edges of 2 inch straps do not get abraded as easily as wider 3 and 4 inch wide straps. This strap also brags a higher minimum breaking strength of 31,000 pounds (USA Tested and repeatable). Not to be confused with "Dynamic" recovery straps like "Snatch" straps or Kinetic Recovery Ropes, Dynamic straps are designed to store large amounts of kinetic energy in the stretch of the rope, tow straps on the other hand do not store this quantity of energy. A properly designed tow rope should be made of a low stretch 100% polyester and allow for little to no stretch and allow vehicles to be towed for greater distances than Dynamic Nylon straps. Because of its low stretch quality, these straps can also be used as a 30 foot winch extension. Each Factor 55 Tow Strap is individually serialized for material lot traceability as well as properly labeled for different load configurations. The Extreme Duty tow strap by Factor 55 comes in the full 30 foot Cordura, sleeve protected version. Most tow straps are taken out of service due to abrasion and wear of the strap edges. The full length Cordura sleeve protects the inner strap from abrasion caused from dragging the strap on the ground during longer distance tows. You will not find a higher quality tow strap on the market today. MADE IN THE USA

About Factor 55
Most often, weve found that companies birthed from passion develop the best products. Thus, it comes as no surprise that Factor 55 a line of products equaled by no other. Based in Boise ID, Factor 55 continues to fill a hole in the Recovery market. The first production of products created an entirely new market by completely negating the need for a traditional winch hook. Factor 55 has created a new standard in the recovery industry. Abandon your loud, floppy winch hook, the ProLink is calling. Dont leave your $80,000 truck, $2000 bumper, and $1500 winch hanging; upgrade your gear with Factor 55 and youll be wondering why you had not thought to do so sooner.

Factor 55 designs, tests, and creates each product in house. All product designs are created using CAD and then optimized with Comsos FEA (Finite Element Analysis). Next each product is subjected to a destructive test with the assistance of a test facility equipped with test measurement and data recording equipment. And finally all of Factor 55s products are produced right here in the good ol United States of America!

Perfect low profile recovery

"This hitch recovery point is ideal for 1ton trucks with class 5 hitches. Not only is it low profile, but it’s light weight and fits the receiver well. It’s also machined well, so no sharp edges for your straps or ropes."

Hitchlink 2. 5

"Looks sharp, fits tightly in the receiver, and feels substantial. Ohh, and you can tug without worry- works as you'd expect it to."

"I have only pulled a couple of items with the ProLink so far and it has worked fine, it also looks great and beats the heck out of a dangling winch cable and hook hanging off the front of my truck."

Q&A

On the AIS Severe Duty Intake (SKU#: FA - 1759), you say that you no longer have the foam sleeve for drawing air from the fender available. Why is this? Are they out of stock? Does Ford not recommend the air be drawn from the fender? I have an early 99 F350 and this is where the factory air box draws from. Thanks.
They are no longer available due to demand. It is advantageous to have, however, there was not enough demand for it. -Ben

Hello, what is the difference in the early 99 one and the later? I have an early 99 and I am just wondering what the reason for price increase is. Thank you.
The battery try and filter location are slightly different in the EARLY99 trucks. This requires a few extra parts. -Ben
Do you guys sell just the lid? I have this system and it's fine except the lid got broke
We do not, it is a Ford Part you might be able to get one from the dealer. Only thing I could get you is the complete intake. DppSands
