Upgrade the factory Allison transmission drain plug with the DmaxStore Magnetic Allison Transmission Drain Plug and add an extra layer of protection against damaging metal debris. The factory drain plug does not include a magnet, allowing fine metal particles generated through normal transmission wear to remain in circulation. This upgraded drain plug uses a strong integrated magnet to capture those particles during operation, helping reduce contamination and protect the transmission over the long term. It is a direct replacement for the stamped-steel Allison transmission pan drain plug. Made in the USA from durable stainless steel, the DmaxStore drain plug is built to withstand the harsh environment around the transmission while offering greater durability than the factory plug. A 62% larger socket engagement area provides better contact for removal and installation, while the included O-ring creates a reliable seal to help prevent leaks. The integrated magnet captures metallic debris before it can continue circulating through the transmission, making this a simple and worthwhile upgrade during routine transmission service. The kit includes the stainless steel magnetic drain plug and O-ring and replaces GM Part #24233099.
