By positively securing the filter, the lock provides added peace of mind for trucks running a deep transmission pan, making it a practical addition during a transmission service or deep-pan installation.
The DmaxStore filter lock is designed for straightforward installation with the factory valve-body bolts, which are reused to secure the lock. Once installed, the bolts are torqued to 100 lb-in to properly hold the filter and maintain a secure fit.
