Carli 3.25" Backcountry Suspension System 14-25 Ram 6.7L Cummins 2500 with Factory Air Ride

The Carli 3.25" Backcountry Suspension System is designed for Ram 2500 4WD trucks with the 6.7L Cummins and factory rear air suspension. With 3.25" of front lift and 2" of rear lift, this system increases suspension travel, improves ride quality, and provides clearance for up to 37" tires while maintaining the functionality of the factory rear air suspension. The Backcountry system features Carli-SPEC 2.0" remote reservoir shocks tuned to provide balanced comfort and control across everyday driving, highway use, towing and hauling, and slow to mid-speed off-road terrain. The remote reservoir design provides an all-around suspension package for drivers who want improved ride quality without giving up the versatility expected from a heavy-duty truck. The system is engineered around the Ram 2500 air-ride platform and includes the components needed to correct suspension geometry and accommodate the additional ride height and travel. Factory load-leveling and alternate trailer height functionality are retained, allowing the truck to continue taking advantage of its factory air suspension while benefiting from the added capability of the Carli system. The shocks feature 6063 aluminum bodies with an anodized finish for corrosion resistance, 5/8" hardened steel chrome-plated shafts, and premium 5WT oil designed to provide consistent damping across a wide range of temperatures. The shocks are also fully serviceable and rebuildable. REQUIRED SWAY BAR OPTION A sway bar solution is required with this 3.25" suspension system to correct the position and geometry of the front sway bar after the truck is lifted. Choose between Carli billet sway bar drop brackets, which retain the factory sway bar, or the Carli Torsion Sway Bar for a more substantial ride-quality upgrade. As the Ram 2500 rear suspension cycles, the short factory track bar allows the axle to move laterally, which can be felt as side-to-side movement or rear-end "yaw." Choose between a rear track bar drop bracket to reduce this movement while retaining the factory track bar or the Carli Extended Rear Track Bar Kit for a larger reduction in track bar angle and rear axle movement. Carli states that 37x12.5" tires should fit without rubbing the factory radius arm and with only minor trimming, while 37x13.5" tires require additional trimming and slightly more offset. A 35" tire should fit with very little, if any, trimming.
