Carli 2.5" Backcountry Leveling System 14-25 Ram 6.7L Cummins 2500 with Factory Air Ride

The Carli 2.5" Backcountry Leveling System is designed for Ram 2500 4WD trucks with the 6.7L Cummins and factory rear air suspension. Providing 2.5" of front lift and 1" of rear lift, this system improves ride quality, handling, and clearance while maintaining the functionality and load capacity of the factory rear air suspension. At the heart of the Backcountry system are Carli-SPEC 2.0" remote reservoir shocks custom-tuned for improved ride quality and control on-road and during light off-road use. Air-ride-specific rear shocks are tuned around the factory airbags, making this system a great option for drivers who want improved suspension performance for daily driving, towing, hauling, dirt roads, and other light off-road terrain. The system pairs linear-rate front coil springs with an adjustable front track bar and air-ride-specific rear components to accommodate the additional ride height while maintaining proper suspension operation. With clearance for up to 35" tires, the Backcountry provides a balance of everyday comfort and increased capability with a relatively minimal increase in ride height. The front and rear shocks are tuned to improve ride quality, handling, and predictability on-road and during light off-road use. The rear shocks are specifically matched to the factory rear airbags, allowing the truck to retain its factory load capacity while providing improved suspension control. OPTIONAL UPGRADES The following components are optional upgrades and are not required to complete the 2.5" Backcountry Leveling System. They can be added to further improve ride quality, suspension geometry, steering control, strength, or protection depending on how the truck is used. OPTIONAL TORSION SWAY BAR The 2.5" leveling height does not require modification to the factory front sway bar. For drivers looking for additional suspension compliance and ride quality, the Carli Torsion Sway Bar can be added as an optional upgrade. It allows the front suspension to move more freely while maintaining vehicle control. OPTIONAL EXTENDED REAR TRACK BAR As the Ram 2500 rear suspension cycles, the factory track bar allows some lateral axle movement, which can be felt as side-to-side movement or rear-end "yaw." This leveling system is not designed to be upgraded into one of Carli's 3.25" suspension systems.
