Description
Add unique styling coupled with additional performance and a great sound to your Duramax powered Canyon or Colorado by upgrading with an AFE 3-1/2" DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) back exhaust system.
SIMPLE INSTALLATION: This system uses factory mounting locations providing stability and hassle-free installation.
OE FIT: OE-style bayonet hangers are used to maintain a stable pipe location during high vibration and high heat conditions. The bayonet tip holds the hanger bushing in place for an OE-style fit that does not change with time.
FLOW AND PERFORMANCE: This Large Bore-HD exhaust system is constructed of 3-1/2" mandrel-bent stainless steel tubing for maximum flow. Smooth transition bends allow for low turbulence, increasing horsepower, torque and lowering EGT's.
5" DIAMETER BLACK INTERCOOLED TIP: Finishing off the exhaust is a 5" diameter, black, stainless steel slash cut tip with intercooling vents designed to reduce exhaust gas temperatures at the tailpipe. A unique stainless steel laser-cut aFe Power logo plate is riveted on for an aggressive style.

2018 Ford Ford Lariat 3. 0L Diesel Muffler Delete and Revised Install Directions
"Installation directions could be written better by AFE. Had assistance from friend who has done this type of installation before. Would add the following additional comments for removal/installation of AFE product on 2018 Ford F-150 3. 0L Diesel: (1) remove/unbolt the hanger mounts completely from the frame versus trying to get hanger loose; (2) the Ford stock muffler and tailpipe assembly is one "whole piece" and was removed by sliding towards the front of the truck once tailpipe is routed over rear axle; (3) removed hanger from stock muffler/tailpipe assembly on the ground; (4) install the hangers/donuts on the new assembly parts on the ground; (5) as you install new sections (3 ea) from front to rear, rebolt hanger assembly to frame as you install each section. Current AFE directions for install are very vague and could have been written better for novice installers. A whole lot easier to work with the hangers and donuts on the ground versus trying to pry/dis-engage while still installed on stock muffler under truck. Hope this helps someone and makes purchases the product in the future from AFE."

"This particular AFE exhaust system which extends back from the factory diesel particulate filter/catalytic converter is constructed with very good quality material, engineered with precision to facilitate easy installation and looks awesome when installed as per the manufacturer's articulate installation instructions. The sound of the exhaust with the engine running after installation is a bit more throaty."

- Will these fit a 16 ram 3500 cab and chasis. If not do you have any that will?
- This kit only fits AAM 9.25-12 bolt front and 11.5-14 bolt rear axles. If you have anything different which is usually the case with a cab and chassis then these will not fit. -Mark
- Is there a reason this wont fit 3rd gen 3500 cummins?
- The bolt circle and pattern on the 2013+ 3500 and 2014+ 2500 trucks is different. -Sands

- That has not been confirmed to fit the 2022 trucks yet. They should know very soon. AFE always tried to be first to market with many parts. -Sands
- Will this fit crew cab dually with and 8’ bed?
- That specific system is listed as fitting the Mega Cab and Crew cab trucks with a short bed. Would not fit your long bed application unfortunately. You would need AFE-49-42075-P. -Sands
- Does this use oem muffler or eliminate the muffler?
- There is a short resonator in the section this would replace, that is eliminated. -Sands
