Make Sure You Get Lock Washers
"Make sure you buy some lock washers and use them in place of the supplied washers. my old 5. 9 rattled three of the nuts loose on the first drive. I torqued them to spec and they still came loose. I lost two and had to replace them. The kit is otherwise convenient and dresses up the engine bay. It makes the install of the manifold much easier as well."

Q&A
- Would this work with the Full Send Diesel black braided line kit? I have the Full Send hoses connected to my OEM cooler, however, it’s leaking and I do not want OEM again.
- This cooler would not work with the full send kit without some modifications.
- Is the impeller cast aluminum or cast steel?
- This water pump features a steel impeller.
- How would you rate this impeller vs a billet one?
- I would rate either a steel or billet aluminum miles ahead of a plastic impeller. In terms of steel versus billet, technically billet is lighter and can usually be balanced better than steel so a billet will ultimately last longer, but both will still last substantially longer than the stock plastic. Beyond that, you would be hard pressed to find a water pump with a steel impeller like this one at a price point anywhere near this, especially comparing to a billet version.
