This sensor can replace the factory sensor in three different exhaust locations, making it a convenient replacement option when repairing your truck. Each sensor is sold individually. Sensor Mounting Locations: Before the Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC): Near the front of the exhaust system, close to the downpipe connection. After the Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC): Farther back in the exhaust system, just before the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). After the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF): Behind the filter, near the exhaust hanger toward the rear of the truck. IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE: The XD1032 fits the three exhaust sensor locations listed above on Ford 6.4L Powerstroke trucks. It does not replace the passenger-side (right-side) up-pipe sensor, which uses XDP XD1031. Verify your sensor location before ordering.
