Description
Having trouble starting your Ford 7.3L Powerstroke, or dealing with an engine that stalls unexpectedly? A failing camshaft position (CMP) sensor could be contributing to the problem. XDP Camshaft Position Sensors replace the factory sensor, which monitors camshaft speed and position and sends that information to the engine's computer (ECM). When the sensor fails, it can cause hard starts, stalling, diagnostic trouble codes, or even a no-start condition. Manufactured to match original equipment specifications, these sensors are designed to fit directly into the factory sensor location. They're built with materials designed to withstand engine heat and vibration. Available with or without a wiring pigtail, these replacement options allow you to choose the configuration that matches the condition of your existing sensor and electrical connector. Sensor Only (XD1037): Includes the replacement camshaft position sensor. Ideal when the existing wiring and electrical connector are in good condition. Sensor With Pigtail (XD1049): Includes the replacement camshaft position sensor and a wiring pigtail for replacing a damaged, corroded, or broken factory connector. The pigtail must be connected to the vehicle's existing wiring during installation. IMPORTANT SENSOR NOTE: The camshaft position sensor is located at the lower front of the engine, above the harmonic balancer. Check the condition of your existing wiring and connector before selecting a configuration, and verify vehicle compatibility before ordering.

About XDP
XDP is Your Source for All Kinds of Diesel Accessories

Whether you're after engine dress up items, heavy duty gear reduction starters, transmission coolers, or anything in beteween, Xtreme Diesel Performance manufacturers a full breadth of products for your Cummins, Duramax, Powerstroke, or EcoDiesel to keep it on the road and running properly. Nowadays, its hard to find a manufacturer of OE level products that produces at least a little bit of everything. Instead, you're forced to buy your new injectors from one company, the injection pump from another, and then your gasket installation kit from yet another company. By maintaining and constantly growing their catalog of XDP Mfg. branded parts, you're able to stick with a single manufacturer in many instances, adding simplicity and peace of mind that components will work in tandem with one another.

From Exhaust Bolts to Radiators, Xtreme Diesel Power Has Your Needs Covered.

Due to their extensive knowledge in light duty diesel parts, XDP Manufacturing is able to determine shortcomings in factory parts and create a solution to ensure your diesel truck is as reliable as it can be. When it comes time to replace a damaged or worn part on your diesel truck, wouldn't you rather replace it with something that's proven to last, and hopefully last longer than the piece you're replacing? Of course you would! This is where you can trust in XDP's line of electronics and engine parts to keep your truck on the road for the long haul.
