Description

The XDP Air Charge Temperature (ACT) Sensor XD1040 is a direct-fit replacement for a faulty factory sensor. It measures the temperature of the pressurized air entering the engine and sends that information to the engine's computer (ECM). The ECM uses this data to monitor engine operating conditions. When the original sensor fails, it can contribute to rough running, reduced performance, diagnostic trouble codes, or a check engine light.

Both names refer to the same type of sensor in this application, so check the location of your existing sensor before ordering.
