This is "THE" clutch to eliminate the troublesome issues associated with the fail prone dual mass flywheel equipped G56. Available in several disc materials and floater plate options to best suit your truck's specific uses and horsepower level, you'll gain confidence in your manual transmission equipped truck once again by having a solid flywheel equipped, dual disc design that has proven itself time and again. These clutches are a great alternative to the weak factory clutch with a dual mass flywheel and are suitable (depending on surfacing options) from everything from a stock truck to a highly modified truck. 2 Available Surfacing Options Organic/Organic (rated to 550 HP) Suitable for stock and mildly modified trucks pulling heavy weight. Great hot shot clutch. Smoothest engagement. Ceramic/Ceramic (rated to 650 HP) Suitable for modified trucks needing the extra holding power of a dual disc and the quick shifting characteristics that a diaphragm clutch has to offer. If you are going to drag race with a manual truck, this would be a great choice. 2 Available Floater Plate Options Standard Floater Plate This is the floater plate that has been used in all existing clutches. Some trucks have experienced "floater plate rattle" with this design, which is why Valair pioneered a new design (see below) New Floater Plate with Spring Strap As stated above, many trucks have experienced floater plate rattle with the original floater plate design, which is similar in design to what nearly every clutch manufacturer in the industry uses. This wasn't good enough for Valair, so they took a principle that they've used on the big truck clutches (Class 6,7,8 trucks) and put into effect on the light duty truck market with great success. A relatively simple design change has proven to eliminate or at least DRASTICALLY reduce this rattle noise.

When we at Diesel Power Products started shopping around for a diesel clutch manufacturer to showcase, we had a lot of choices. It soon became clear that one company offered the combination of quality, durability, customer service, price and integrity that we were looking for. Valair Clutch has not failed to live up to our expectations.

Valair started as Vallance Remanufacturing in Mineral Wells, Texas, about 60 miles West of Fort Worth, in the early 1990s. The company concentrated on rebuilding clutch assemblies for heavy trucks and agriculture. The location allowed Valair to keep cost low and supply the Dallas/Fort Worth area as well as the local areas with quality replacement parts.

In 2004, Valair addressed an interest in the performance clutch market for high horsepower diesel trucks. Research and development started to source the parts for these applications. Valair was already building clutches for most OTR trucks capable of holding up to 2250 ft. lbs torque and was adapting these principles from these OTR clutches into a smaller package for ¾ and 1 ton trucks.

After two years of R&D, Valair's ˜Performance Series Clutches were marketed to the diesel truck enthusiast who wanted a quality high performance clutch at a reasonable price. All of these clutches are assembled in Mineral Wells, Texas from the highest quality parts available and are now being sold all over the World.

Incredibly smooth clutch hampered by a stupid plastic clip on linkage rod.

"Fairly quiet for a dual disc. Very smooth engagement. The wife even drives it. Daily drivable without a problem. Love it! Problem: The plastic basket clip that attaches the rod to the pedal is broken on day one. (Possibly due to some ham-fistedness from the mechanic) Using a hitch pin to hold it in place until I can source a replacement. Valair or DPP if you're reading this, please help me find the part. Not easily located on either site."

What is the best choice I have a 2012 6.7 it's my daily driver little modified I do pull trailer but not everyday what one should i go with
If you tow a lot and are not over 500 rear wheel horsepower, go with the organic. If you plan on building this truck past 500 hp, you will have to go with the ceramic to hold that kind of power. -TL
