Description

Protect components from extreme exhaust temperatures with BOOST Products' 5mm Fiberglass Thermal Insulation Mat. Designed for use with thermal insulation heat shields, this mat provides an added layer of protection around high-heat components such as turbine housings, exhaust manifolds, and downpipes. The 5mm thickness helps create a barrier between hot exhaust components and surrounding parts, making it a practical solution for custom heat shielding and demanding thermal management applications. The fiberglass mat can be cut to fit the component's shape and features a self-adhesive backing to help hold it in place during installation. For a complete heat shield, the mat can be wrapped around the component and combined with BOOST Products 309 stainless steel thermal insulation sheet, which can then be formed and welded around the assembly. This makes it well-suited for custom fabrication where a precise fit and reliable insulation are needed.
