CNC-machined from premium 6061 billet aluminum, this heavy-duty transmission pan is built for high-power, towing, racing, and other demanding applications where transmission temperature control and durability matter. The deep-fin design increases surface area for improved heat dissipation while the pan adds approximately 4 quarts of transmission fluid capacity over the factory pan. The additional fluid volume helps provide greater thermal capacity and can help reduce operating temperatures and extend fluid life under heavy loads. Despite its increased capacity and heavy-duty construction, the Tameless Performance pan is approximately 4 pounds lighter than comparable cast transmission pans. An integrated magnetic drain plug helps capture ferrous debris, while a built-in 1/8" NPT sensor port provides a convenient location for installing a transmission temperature sensor.
