If you're running larger tires or regularly putting your Jeep through hard trail use, the factory front axle can take a beating. The Synergy Front Axle Assurance Kit is a weld-on reinforcement kit that adds steel bracing to your existing Dana 44 / Advantek M220 front axle rather than replacing it. By strengthening several of the axle's most vulnerable areas, it helps prevent bent inner C's, warped axle tubes, and damaged lower control arm mounts before those problems turn into expensive repairs. Strengthens multiple weak points: Instead of reinforcing only one area, the kit combines a front axle truss, inner C gussets, and lower control arm skid plates. The truss acts as additional bracing across the factory axle housing to help keep the axle tubes from flexing, bending, or warping. The inner C gussets add support at the ends of the axle where hard impacts and oversized tires can cause deformation. Together, these pieces help the axle hold its shape and maintain proper alignment and suspension geometry during demanding off-road use. Adds protection underneath: The included 1/4-inch steel lower control arm skid plates weld over vulnerable areas of the factory control arm mounts to add strength and protection against rocks and other trail obstacles. Their smooth shape also gives the axle a better surface for sliding over rocks instead of catching or striking the exposed factory brackets. Built for serious trail use: The control arm skids are CNC laser cut and formed from high-strength 1/4-inch USA-made steel, while the truss and inner C gussets use high-strength 3/16-inch USA-made carbon steel. Each piece is shaped to fit the stock axle closely for proper installation. The truss also incorporates Synergy Dual Durometer Bushings with a Teflon bearing surface for a maintenance-free design focused on articulation, longevity, performance, and ride quality while retaining OEM-size bushings.
