Description
How often do you flush your coolant? Every 100,000 miles? You wouldn't believe the amount of debris that can accumulate and clog up your water jackets. But Sinister has a cure! The Sinister Coolant Filter Kit is a bypass-style system that filters a small amount of the coolant on each pass. By using a standard spin on filter it's easy for you to change your coolant filter at regular intervals. These filters will remove all solid particles from your 6.7 Cummins in order to extend the longevity of your cooling system components. Typically you will use 3 filters in the first 9 months. Once the initial 9 months has passed you will only need to change the filter once a year.

About Sinister Diesel

Sinister stands for everything diesel and they have made a name for themselves manufacturing some of the highest quality diesel engine components in the industry. The Sinister Diesel brand was born out of an idea from the founders while working on one of their own trucks. What if they started their own diesel performance business manufacturing and selling high quality air intake, fuel, and engine components? That idea transpired into the Sinisterl Diesel we know today. In order to make sure that when you popped the hood, you could easily distinguish a œSinister branded part from other companies, nearly everything they manufacture is coated in their trademarked œSinister Blue. Whether you drive a Cummins, Powerstroke, or Duramax, they can outfit your entire truck with cold air intakes, fuel tank sumps, oil filtration, regulated fuel return kits, and so much more. If you're looking for quality performance parts at a great price, look no further than Sinister!

Short hose to short.

"Purchased for my 2008 dodge ram 2500 quad cab. The long hose fit perfectly, maybe even a little long. But the short hose on the other hand was about a foot short."

Overall Product Good, Salty Filter Location

"Installed this on my 08 Dodge 3500 dually crew cab 4x4. Instructions were good, bolted up nicely, ran the hoses forward without issue, and found the short hose was about 18" too short. Long hose fit perfectly. Contacted DPP and sent them pictures asking for a short length of hose to splice in, but after a month, no hose. Otherwise good quality, seems to work. Customer service a little lacking (about 18" lacking)."

"Very easy install given the great directions, installed in about an hour. The only thing I would change about the product is the filter location. It would be much nicer if it would mount In the engine bay rather than the frame rail. All together a great product and smart add on."
