SB's intake kits are engineered to improve the airflow to your trucks engine. It starts with years of research and development, as well as the most technically advanced testing. Designed with efficiency in mind, SB's intake system requires very little effort to install, simply unbolt your factory air box and replace it with your new SB system, no additional modifications are required!
ISO 5011 Filtration Testing - With extensive testing done by SB, you can be sure that this system has a great value. The impressive ISO 5011 Filtration Testing makes sure your engine will be protected form unwanted dust and particulates.
Optional Secondary Box Opening - If you're looking for even more air flow, this system was designed with an optional secondary box opening. A silicone plug is also included if you prefer to pull in air only from the fender inlet.
Stronger, Better Silicone Parts - Stronger, better silicone parts are a big reason SB's filter systems work so well. This premium rubber withstands temperatures of up to 400 degrees and will not crack or tear with age. Tough and elastic enough to stretch, the silicone will still snap into a perfect seal which is why SB used silicone to build the filter, inlet, coupler, and tube sleeve.
Avoid Check Engine Lights - Designed to avoid those pesky check engine lights, this kit totes a properly mapped Mass Air Sensor mount. This means you'll be a-okay installing this air filter system with out worry of changing your stock calibration or tuning.

"Anytime you can get air into or out of a diesel engine it will become more efficient. This does just that and removes all of the unnecessary bends and restraints of oem intake, plus looks great. It is a little tight getting in but it does fit. Also, must be removed to change headlights on passenger side. Make sure not to smudge plexiglass or wear gloves, or you will see fingerprints!"

- Yes you will notice an increase in intake/turbo noise under acceleration.
- How many horsepower gain will I get on my 6.6 duramax with this intake
- This would be dependent on supporting modifications. As of currently I do not have any dyno numbers. It however on the flow bench is 29.10% better flowing than the stock box.
