As the OBS (Old Body Style) 7.3L's get older, parts will need replacing. If your turbo is showing signs of age, this remanufactured unit from Rotomaster is built to exacting factory specs. The cartridge assembly is completely replaced with a new unit from Rotomaster, not rebuilt, thus you are sure to never receive a worn bearing, thrust collar, etc. that will lead to premature failure. Great Fit and Great Boost!

"My 97 has 252K hard miles on the original turbo. I noticed that it wasn't making much boost compared to my dad's low mile 97. After checking for boost leaks it was determined that I needed a new turbo. After checking prices on multiple websites the best value I thought this was the best fit. The installation went smooth and the truck is back in service making more boost than I can ever remember."

Q&A

Does this trubo come with the EBP valve attached?
It does not, you will have to transfer your old valve over to the new turbo. -Sands
Does the turbo and pedestal sold together? Or do you have to buy the pedestal seperate?

What is the size of the v band connection?
Are you speaking of the stock size v-band connection off the compressor cover? This turbo would not have the v-band on the rear. You would have to re-use your bolt on turbine outlet. -Sands
