Strengthen your 47RE or 48RE with the RevMax 300M Billet Output Shaft 29-Spline FAT Shaft. Designed for high-performance and high-torque Cummins applications, this upgraded output shaft replaces the smaller 23-spline factory-style shaft with a larger-diameter 29-spline design for increased cross-sectional strength and improved resistance to shaft breakage.
Manufactured from high-strength 300M alloy steel, the RevMax FAT Shaft is built to withstand the increased torque loads generated by modified diesel engines, heavy towing, and performance applications. The larger shaft diameter provides additional material in critical areas, addressing a common weak point of the factory 47RE/48RE output shaft.

The 29-spline configuration makes this output shaft an excellent choice for performance transmission builds using a compatible 29-spline transfer case or input gear. It can also be used in 68RFE-to-48RE conversions where a 29-spline transfer case input is present.
