Cold weather can make a diesel harder to start and can cause diesel fuel to gel when temperatures get low enough, but the REV X Distance+ Winter Diesel Treatment Kit helps prepare both the engine and fuel system for winter by combining two different treatments in one kit. REV X High-Performance Oil Treatment, also known as the Original Stiction Fix, goes into the engine oil to reduce friction and clean the oil system, while Distance+ Winter goes into the fuel to restore lubrication and cleaning properties that today's ultra-low sulfur diesel may lack. Distance+ Winter also helps prevent diesel fuel from gelling in temperatures down to -25°F. The High-Performance Oil Treatment works with your existing engine oil and helps clean deposits from oil rings, oil pumps, bearings, HEUI injectors, and turbochargers. At the same time, Distance+ Winter helps clean and lubricate the fuel system for more reliable operation in cold conditions. Because each treatment handles a different part of your diesel, you get oil-system protection along with the cold-weather fuel protection needed to help keep your truck running smoothly through winter.
