REV X 10W30 SHIFT Manual Transmission Fluid is a highly additized GL-5 semi-synthetic lubricant designed for compatible manual transmissions that require a 10W30 fluid. Its combination of friction reducers, organic detergents, and extreme-pressure additives helps reduce metal-to-metal wear on gears, bearings, and shifting components while keeping internal parts clean. Reducing friction and increasing film strength helps the transmission handle higher loads while operating more efficiently and at lower temperatures. Behind the wheel, that can mean faster, smoother shifts, less transmission chatter when using a heavy-duty clutch, and more consistent performance when the drivetrain is working hard. Reduced heat and wear can also help extend the service life of the fluid, seals, gears, bearings, and other internal transmission components. SHIFT is made specifically for manual transmissions and uses a different additive package than lubricants intended for differentials or transfer cases.
