PSC High Performance Series Pump Kit 01-10 GMC 6.6L Duramax 2500HD/3500HD

Give your Duramax the steering assist it needs to handle heavy towing, hauling, and oversized tires with the PSC High Performance SLEEPER XD Series Power Steering Pump Kit. Factory steering pumps can struggle to provide consistent assist at low engine speeds, especially when maneuvering a loaded truck or running larger-than-stock tires. This upgraded pump is designed to deliver increased fluid flow at lower RPM and stronger hydraulic assist, helping reduce steering effort and provide more confident control when your truck is working hard. Whether you're refreshing a worn steering system or upgrading a dependable tow rig, this kit delivers a practical improvement for trucks that demand more from their steering and Hydro-Boost braking systems. PSC builds this pump around an upgraded ring-and-rotor assembly designed to increase low-RPM flow, paired with an 1800 PSI pressure-relief valve to support stronger steering assist. The kit includes a high-performance power steering pump, an OEM-style reservoir and cap, a premium high-pressure hose kit, and PSC 715 High Performance Power Steering Fluid to complete the installation. Designed to work with the factory power steering pump pulley, this vehicle-specific setup provides an upgrade without requiring a different pulley arrangement. PSC recommends using its 715 fluid to support proper cooling and pump longevity, keeping fittings clean during installation, and inspecting the factory pulley before reinstallation.
