Keep your rear differential cooler and better protected with the PPE Heavy-Duty Cast Aluminum Rear Differential Cover for 2023–2026 Ford Superduty trucks equipped with the Dana M315 rear axle. Constructed from heat-treated A356.0-T6 cast aluminum, this precision-engineered cover delivers excellent strength, improved heat dissipation, and increased fluid capacity for demanding towing, hauling, and heavy-duty applications.
The cover adds 0.8 quart of differential fluid capacity to improve thermal management, while 1/2-inch external cooling fins help dissipate heat and provide additional impact resistance. Internal windage scrapers optimize fluid movement around the gears, reducing excessive churning, fluid aeration, and heat buildup to support efficient power transfer and reliable differential lubrication.
Designed for added durability, the cover features an integrated cross-bracing structure and cast-in gussets that reinforce the housing flange and improve overall rigidity. Magnetic fill and drain plugs constructed from 304 stainless steel capture ferrous metal particles to help protect internal components. Viton O-rings provide a reliable seal, and the fill plug is positioned at the factory fill level for convenient servicing.
