PPE Performance Intercooler 03-09 Ram 5.9L/6.7L Cummins

Improve charge-air cooling and airflow with the PPE Performance Intercooler for 2003–2009 Dodge Ram trucks equipped with the 5.9L or 6.7L Cummins diesel engine. Engineered for increased cooling capacity and reduced airflow restriction, this high-performance intercooler helps maintain consistent engine performance during towing, hauling, and demanding driving conditions. Built with an all-aluminum bar-and-plate core and welded cast aluminum end tanks, this intercooler offers excellent durability and resistance to the heat and pressure associated with turbocharged diesel applications. The 2.70-inch-thick core is 110% thicker than the factory core and incorporates 10 additional rows of cooling fins to improve heat transfer and charge-air temperature management. The upgraded design features 3.50-inch inlet and outlet ports, compared to the factory 3.00-inch openings. These larger connections help reduce airflow restriction, promote smoother engine breathing, and reduce stress on the turbocharger. By helping deliver cooler, denser intake air, the PPE Performance Intercooler supports combustion efficiency, fuel economy, and lower exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs). Designed as a direct bolt-on replacement, this intercooler offers a practical performance upgrade for stock and modified Cummins-powered trucks. The kit includes silicone couplers and constant-tension spring clamps for installation.
