WrenchConnected is an independent installation marketplace operating in partnership with Diesel Power Products.
After checkout, we route your vehicle info and part SKU to verified installation shops near you. Local installers review the job and submit competitive bids; you pick the shop you want based on price, reviews, and availability. Your name and email stay private until you select an installer.
You pay for the bid from your preferred shop. The full amount is shown before you confirm — installers cannot add charges without your written consent. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
During bidding, shops see only your service ZIP code, vehicle year/make/model, and the part SKU — not your name, email, or address. Only the shop you select receives your contact details after payment. We never sell your personal information.

"Kit came well packaged alongside the installation kit (separate order) and both were very straightforward to use and easy to install."
"I was kinda skeptical when purchasing this lift pump at first considering how many good things I’ve heard about the fass and air dog pump but I’ve been running the ppe 160 gph since October of last year and it’s been great and not let me down yet. If you want a great lift pump that don’t break the bank and performs just as good with the other pumps I would suggest this all day long"
"I'm so aggravated this pump didn't last 5000 miles. Its leaking from where the electric motor fits into the pump housing. Cant drive mt truck because so much air is getting I to the lines."
"It doesn’t even come with the necessary parts. Yo have to buy them separate"
"It’s noisy, but it was less than 600$ and seems to be working"
"this is basically the same lift pump GM used for the 6. 5L diesel. it works fine but it is noisy AF."
"Recently installed the PPE lift pump on my 2008 GMC 3500 . Straight forward and easy install. Kit came with the dual relay harness setup. Using "add a circuit wire taps" I installed the "12v ignition" wire to the #45 aux HVAC fuse in the underhood fuse box, the "12v constant" to the bus bar at the front of the underhood fuse box. The "12v starter signal" was taken from post #30 on the starter relay. The ground for the relays I attached to the hood ground strap bolt above the brake booster. The remaining Red wire from the relay harness then goes to the lift pump. I mounted the lift pump inside the driver side frame rail in front of the fuel tank using an existing hole in the frame so no drilling required. I fashioned a bracket to mount the pump to and the bolted that bracket to the frame using the existing hole. I installed rubber mounts in between the pump and bracket, and bracket to frame giving it more noise/ vibration isolation. The ground wire for the pump I attached to the park brake cable bracket bolt in front of the pump on the frame rail. Instead of cutting any of the factory fuel supply lines I used a set of quick disconnect couplings that allowed me to install into the factory lines. You can disconnect the factory supply line at the front of the tank, install the aftermarket metal line connector to a hose going to the inlet on the pump. Plug that into the female factory connector from the tank. The aftermarket female connector gets installed on the hose that goes to the outlet of the pump, then connect that to the factory metal line. By using these quick disconnects it allows me to easily and quickly return the fuel system back to stock should the pump ever fail. I used the optional hose install kit for stock system. Very happy with the install and operation of this pump. Pics of components and install included. Good luck!"
