"I’ve had this starter for 2 years, I’ve only put 3,000 miles on my truck in the 2 years originally got it when I was doing headgaskets and it broke about 3 months into having it. The power stud completely broke off, I thought that they would warranty it no problem but I ended up having to pay shipping and to have it fixed because I didn’t “torque it properly. Here I am again the same thing happened after torquing it properly same exact thing happened left me stranded, good starter bad design with the plastic holding the power stud in."

"I originally gave this 5 stars. Once it was installed, mechanic stated that the starter is bad. And due to the 30day return policy of DPP, im now out $230 for the parts that didnt work. Plus the cost of a new one that works being put on at the shop."

Didnt know if i needed a straight or 90° lug with this starter. Really nice gal with customer service got back to me same day and now i have the replacement battery cables on the way as well! I only buy from here and sinister now! Very happy! Cant wait to get my rig set straight with Diesel Power Products!"
