Description
Looking for complete ease of adjustability to go with your new or existing airbags? PacBrake has several options for you! If you currently do not have on board air, the PacBrake HP10098 is exactly what you are looking for. This system allows in cab adjustability of both bags separately, so there is no air transfer between bags. If you already have on board air (i.e. compressor driven exhaust brake), then the HP10124 will allow the switches and airbags to run off of your current system. To top things off, add an air tank to the system, so that your compressor does not have to run as frequently to charge the system. Available options are a 2 1/2 gallon tank (PBHP10050), a 1/2 gallon tank (PBHP10053), and even a 5 gallon tank (PBHP10051). IMPORTANT NOTE: if adding an air tank, a pressure switch is also required, PBHP10111 is for 85-105 PSI

About PacBrake
PACBRAKE EXHAUST BRAKES

Pacbrake is a manufacturing company based out of Langley, British Columbia that began operations in 1961, specializing in exhaust and engine brakes for commercial truckers, loggers, and the military. Today, their expertise still lies on exhaust braking solutions, but it goes well beyond this and into numerous other vehicle upgrades such as air suspension, air compressors, complete air management solutions, and so much more.

PACBRAKE EXHAUST BRAKES

Diesel Power Products is proud to offer the complete line of Pacbrake PRXB Exhaust Brakes for Cummins, Duramax and Powerstroke diesels. At the time of their release, the PRXB line of brakes was unlike any other, and still maintains superiority over many alternatives to this day. So what does PRXB mean and how does it work? PRXB stands for "Pressure Release Exhaust Brake." Basically, all exhaust brakes have to release a certain amount of exhaust, otherwise it would cause excessive backpressure to the engine and cause damage. However, PRXB's are unique in that they have a variable release so that as RPM's slow down, so does the release of exhaust, equating to better retarding power at lower RPM's. If you tow with your diesel and don't have an exhaust brake, you're simply missing out on the peace of mind and safety that it delivers. Pacbrake's kits come complete, even torque converter lockup controllers when applicable, exhaust adapters for aftermarket oversized exhaust, and more.

PACBRAKE AIR BAGS & AIR COMPRESSORS

With a name like Pacbrake you would assume that they ONLY make diesel exhaust brakes. That couldn't be farther from the truth. Pacbrake has jumped into the light duty diesel truck market with an innovative product line including AMP series air bags, air suspension, Dodge short shift kits, on board air kits and accessories and their MaxFlow Elbow for 1994-2002 Ram trucks which is based on the same elbow used in the PRXB MaxFlow Exhaust Brake kit. Pacbrake manufactures exhaust brakes for GM Duramax, Ford Powerstroke and Cummins Diesels. Not sure which Pacbrake part is right for you? Give us a call or send us an email, we'll be glad to help!

Would buy again , simple and effective.

"Quick and easy to use to adjust air suspension . The barbed connectors are not as friendly as the slip on connectors"

"Would be more helpful if air lines were pre attached to switches very hard to attach hard plastic lines to swiches. Also, make diagram for relay match up with one for pressure switch when also installing pressure switch on tank, both say different ways to hook up relay."

Q&A

On Pacbrake's website the hp10098 system comes with a series 325 compressor. When I select the same kit on your page the product is described as coming with a series 275 compressor....is this a mistake?
That is a typo and will be fixed. -Ben
Are the connectors still barb connectors ?? Seems reviews are negative on barb connections. Quick connect would be better. Those posts were pretty old thought maybe they might of changed up. Thanks , Denny
That kit is still utilizing barbed fittings. However we have added many more kits that utilize the push to connect style fittings. -TL
