"Probably one of the easiest installs of any mod that I’ve done to my 2013 Ram. Only took about 30 min without any instal instruction. Anyone with basic wrench turning skills should be able to knock this out without any trouble. Don’t let the few bad reviews discourage you, it’s not rocket science! So glad I don’t that to mess with the plastic cap on the fuel filter housing that always seizes up anymore!"
"SO. . . . I read a lot of reviews about this and wish I would have paid attention. First off, NOTHING again DPP here. . . they are awesome. This review is about the XDP ADAPTER ONLY!!! I love DPP and will continue shopping here. . . just placed another order before this review! All of the included hardware works perfectly. You DO NOT need a 3rd 90* angle. . . . the 2 is perfect for it all. XDP doesn't include any instructions. . . luckily DPP had them online. The problem is, they are B&W, the pictures are small and XDP did a very poor job of explaining it. I'll say this. . . for the 2018, don't remove the tire. . . it's useless. Can't speak to other years. You can't get to a dang thing taking the wheel off. I mean, yes you can unplug the harness, but hell you can do that from up top along with everything else. There is a LOT of stuff in the way no matter how you go and if you have big arms and hands like I do, get ready! Its a PITA no matter what you do. I got it all done in about 1. 5 hours. Works like a champ once its in but XDP needs to adopt the instruction policy that Banks has. . . . VERY clear & concise instructions with LARGE pictures. . . . easy to see and understand. XDP IS a joke. There is a similar model from another place (BMP) that is a lot cleaner installed and looks great too!! DO your homework. 2 stars for a decent product but deducting 3 for all the headaches for XDP. They need to learn from the other bad reviews."
