Description
Make sure your freeze plugs stay firmly mounted in your 1989-2018 Dodge Ram Cummins 5.9L or 6.7L engine with this bolt in freeze plug from XDP. Increased coolant pressure via high engine RPM, differences in cooling temperatures, faulty freeze plugs and other things can cause the factory plugs to blow out. This kit eliminates that risk. These plugs are constructed of CNC machined 6061 aluminum and features an o-ring gasket for a leak free seal.

- What is the diameter of this product? When I asked at Auto Parts stores, none of them listed a freeze plug for my 2005 Dodge ram 3505.9 L Cummins diesel that is nearly large enough for the one that came out of my engine. The diameter of the freeze plug that came out of the side of my block is 2.36 inches. (Just a little larger than 2 1/4 inches.). I want to make sure that your product is the correct diameter.
- The inner initial measurement is 2.28" that being said these are expansion plugs that will expand during the install process a bit and will take up the 1/16" difference. Thank you.
