Bolts stretched and broke

"Heavy-duty clamp; however, the 6 bolts that hold the clamp together are very poorly made. When I torqued to the required 15 ft lbs, some of them stretched, and some broke. I purchased stronger stainless steel ones, and they hold much better now."

Worked good as needed

"Just installed on 03 ram 2500 5. 9, w/ the MOOG T-steering upgrade. Got the 1-5/8 size as recommended by here, and it fit. The instructions aren’t the greatest, but as a “universal” device I get it. I am not a mechanic and this was the first time doing this on my own so here are my tips: -Due to angle you must softly install the shock first on to the bracket. -loosely tighten the hex bolts, they are 7/32 not 1/4 like they callout. -jack up so front wheels are off the ground and turn to drivers side max, and set the truck down. -check the placement of the bracket, pushed it about 3/4in to the passenger side as when setting the truck down they naturally straightened out slightly. -Tighten bracket as called out in instructions. - I jacked up the truck again and rotated the wheel to max in both directions. Set it back down and checked tightness again. Over all great product, fix my issue: heard a knocking when turn the wheel at low speeds. Bracket bolt was loose."

Q&A

Is this for dual stabilizers or do you need 2 of these clamps to run duals
Yes you would need 2 clamps.
Will this clamp work with a falcon 2-2 steering stabilizer for a 13 JKU with RK 1-3/4 Pro X tie rod?
We have not been able to confirm fitment with that specific application. -Mark
Will these clamps work with dual steering stabilizer on the Synergy steering kit on a 2011 ford f250
Most of the dual steering stabilizer kit's require the truck to have at least 2" of lift in order to clear the steering linkage. But this clamp will work as long as you order the 1-1/2 OD" clamp -Mark
Does this work for T or Y style steering ?
This clamp can work on either as long as you get your tie rods outer diameter correct for the clamp to hold on to. -Mark
