Already have the turbo you want for your 5.9L Cummins but don't have the plumbing to make it all work? No problem. The Smeding Diesel S400 2nd gen piping kit is exactly what you need to put the finishing touches on your build. This comprehensive kit includes everything you'll need to complete your upgrade, with the exception of the turbo and manifold, of course. This kit comes with an HX40 downpipe (and the option for S400 downpipe) to help with exhaust evacuation, a 4-inch air intake kit equipped with a S&B filter to allow that engine to breathe, both oil feed and drain lines, and the intercooler piping set that is ready to install. WHAT IS A SECOND GEN TURBO KIT? A "Second Gen Turbo Kit" removes the turbo from the factory location on the head (which is centered on cylinders four and five), moving it forward to be centered on the head between cylinders three and four. The reasoning this is called "2nd Gen" kit is because the second generation Rams (1994-2002 model years) had this turbo location from the factory, and is more ideal for even exhaust flow. This kit allows you to easily install an S400 series turbo in the second gen location on your 2003-2007 Cummins.
