Dented edge of my hood

"So I did both installs on each side had no issues with either side on install smooth no closed it all up checked gaps. Opened my hood to check my fluid levels (do this every other day or so cause I drive a lot) the passenger side of the hood clipped the edge of the light pillar and bend my hood and pushed out my fender when I opened it up. My heart dropped I was so dissatisfied with the tight fit and how every millimeter counts. They should have extended it slightly to avoid this. Now I have paint chip, dented edge of the hood and fender a bit flared. I have plenty of photos don’t recommend it for how close to the frame it is."
