If you own a late model 6.7 Powerstroke, its likely you've either heard about the issues with the factory cold side intercooler pipe, or experienced it yourself. And if you haven't, long story short, they're known to burst in half, even on stock horsepower level trucks, and the problem only gets worse the more boost you're throwing at it. Now, why is this a problem? Easy, if any part of your intercooler system cannot develop boost due to even the smallest of cracks or holes, it can't build air pressure to shove into the engine, and without that air, your engine will barely move under its own power, or lack thereof. Unfortunately, the factory piece from Ford was built with inferior materials, but the good news is that S&B has your back with this direct replacement, two piece unit made from heavy duty aluminum and 5-ply silicone.MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE:

"Installed the S&B cold side intercooler pipe on my 2022 F350 6. 7 and the difference in quality compared to the factory pipe is night and day. The stock pipe is plastic and honestly feels like a weak point, especially on a truck that tows and sees boost regularly. This aluminum pipe is solid and gives a lot more confidence. Install was straightforward and everything fit exactly like it should with the factory sensors and couplers. The welds and overall build quality are really nice. Paired with my S&B intake the truck definitely feels like it breathes easier and the turbo response is smoother when getting into the throttle. It’s not a crazy horsepower gain by itself, but it’s a great airflow and reliability upgrade for the 6. 7 Powerstroke."

"The pipe looks great. I wish the install was as easy as they made it look in the video. I had a hard time getting the pipe to seat properly but eventually got it. The upper T clamp was a pain though. If installed as instructed it will stab into the side of the power steering reservoir, if rotated further under, it is in a bad angle to get a tool on it to tighten it. Had to disconnect the pipes, rotate the T clamp to position it to the top, and reinstall everything. In the end I’m pretty happy with it."
