Upgrade your 4-door 2018–2025 Jeep JL with the Rock Slide Engineering 3rd Gen Step Slider, combining heavy-duty rock slider protection with automated convenience.
Built from 10-gauge steel with rust-resistant stainless steel and aluminum internals, and finished in a textured black powder coat, this trail-rated step slider is engineered for reliability and durability. The 3rd Gen model adds 2 extra inches on the rear step for safer rear-seat access, while the smart motor eliminates the old gas strut for consistent operation. Even in cold or harsh conditions. The step drops 12 inches automatically when the door opens and tucks away flush when it closes, with a built-in sleep mode to minimize battery drain.
Designed for easy, no-drill installation, this plug-and-play system uses a dedicated harness, magnetic door sensors, and all included hardware—no splicing required, and your factory warranty remains intact. Rated for moderate off-roading, optional skid plates are available for more extreme trails.
Made in the USA, this kit includes both driver and passenger side Step Sliders, with options to purchase individually or together depending on your preference.
