Replace your factory engine oil filter in your L5P GM Duramax with this PPE High Efficiency Filter offering a larger filtering surface area over a conventional oil filter, the PPE Premium High-Efficiency Oil Filter is just what your engine oil needs to stay cleaner, longer.
The In stark contrast, the PPE has superior filtration down to 5 microns, 330 square inches of specially engineered media. A perforated metal center core provides media support. Blow-by is eliminated by a coil spring. This filter also includes an integrated magnet to catch ferrous metals and a silicone anti-drain-back valve to prevent the passage of dirty oil. The bypass valve a stiffer spring and a rubber seal. The thicker base plate also has 49% larger passages for higher flow.

- I have a 2017 L5 P will it fit without a conversion kit or do I need to get a conversion kit? If so, I need to order that cause I just ordered the oil filter.
- This oil filter option does not require the relocation kit, that is only for the taller/extra capacity filter option.
- Does this filter use the same size filter socket as the PF63
- No it does not, it is going to be a larger diameter
