Description
PPE’s Heavy-Duty DEEP 10L80 Transmission Pan holds an extra 4 quarts of fluid and is cast from high-quality aluminum alloy for strength and optimal heat dissipation. Simply stated, more is always better when it comes to transmission fluid. Higher volumes of fluid take longer to heat up allowing for more stable transmission temperatures which help to extend transmission life. Cast gussets provide strength and overall robustness. Internal heat sinks wick heat and act as baffles to reduce fluid sloshing. External fins add surface area and use free-flowing air to radiate heat.The PPE Heavy-Duty DEEP Aluminum Transmission Pan also features a high-power Neodymium magnet-equipped billet stainless steel drain plug to catch and hold harmful ferrous metal contaminants keeping them out of the transmission internals.

"Quality tranny pan, its stout to say the least. Easy install once the stock pan is removed. Makes tranny flushes so much easier. Tip: when you get to recommend tranny flush time "45000 miles" do this tranny pan. 1st drain and removed stock pan "easy to do but messy" 2nd change tranny filter "AC Delco 24294355" 3nd install new PPE tranny pan, 4th fill with new oil, 5th run in Drive to remove oil from torque converter, 6th drain and refill with new oil. Yes its an extra $100 in oil but thats the real way to properly flush your tranny. Next ill be installing the PPE tranny cooler for better cooling."
Q&A
- Will this part void the manufacturers warranty?
- Per the Magnuson-Moss Act, no aftermarket product can void a manufacturer warranty simply for the fact of it being installed. However, if the aftermarket product has/is proven to cause the failure of a factory component, then warranty coverage can be denied. Thus, if you installed this transmission pan and transmission oil leaked out and the transmission failed, and it was deemed to be caused by a crack in the transmission pan or an uneven sealing surface, the warranty coverage for your replacement transmission would be denied. However, the simple fact of it being installed cannot void your warranty.
- Will this pan fit on a Silverado 1500 3.0L with the Bison Package with it's skid plates?
- According the the manufacture it should fit without an issue. We suggest checking fitment against the OE part number 24043538. If your truck came factory with this part it will fit. Thank you.
