Description

Protect the bottom end of your expensive Duramax engine with a set of Main Cap Studs from PPE. When you increase the power of your 2006-2016 Duramax engine, it can significantly increase the stress on the stock main bolts causing catastrophic failure. This issue is addressed with a set of PPE main studs. These studs are thread rolled to a MIL-S-8879 specification for increased strength and precision centerless ground for accuracy. These studs have been tested and verified with a tensile strength over 231,900 psi. This kit comes complete with hardened parallel washers, nuts, and specially formulated assembly grease for a uniform load distribution and accurate torque readings.
