Description

Protect the bottom end of your expensive Duramax engine with a set of Main Cap Studs from PPE. When you increase the power of your Duramax engine, it can significantly increase the stress on the stock main bolts causing catastrophic failure. This issue is addressed with a set of PPE main studs. These studs are thread rolled to a MIL-S-8879 specification for increased strength and precision centerless ground for accuracy. These studs have been tested and verified with a tensile strength over 231,900 psi. This kit comes complete with hardened parallel washers, nuts, and specially formulated assembly grease for a uniform load distribution and accurate torque readings.
